Your quiz answers stay with you

The answers you give in the quiz are stored exclusively locally in your browser (in what is known as sessionStorage) and are only used to show you a recommendation at the end. These answers are never transmitted to us or to third parties and disappear as soon as you close the browser tab. We do not use cookies for this feature.

Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.). When you access the site, the server automatically processes technical access data transmitted by your browser. This includes, in particular, the IP address, the date and time of access, the page accessed, and the browser and operating system used. This data is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare also processes data in part on servers outside the EU; the transfer is safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Analytics with Umami

To anonymously measure visitor numbers, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami does not set cookies and does not store personal data. Only anonymized, aggregated figures are collected, such as how many people visited a page, roughly which country they came from, and which page they visited previously. No recognition of individual persons or cross-site tracking takes place. Your IP address is not stored. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in data-minimizing analytics (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Advertising with Google AdSense

We finance this free website through advertising from Google AdSense, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure their effectiveness. If you consent, you may be shown personalized ads based on your previous behavior; without consent, you will only receive non-personalized advertising. You grant or refuse your consent via the consent banner that appears on your first visit, and you can withdraw it at any time. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
