Best-of lists
Lists straight from the database, by genre and platform.
15 lists, all drawn from the same database. The finder asks you questions and filters on your answers, whereas here the order is fixed and follows the rating alone. This is the faster route when you already know it should be an RPG or something for the Switch.
The lists are recalculated every month. When new games arrive or ratings shift, the order moves with them. What sits at number three today can be number five next month.
How these lists are put together
For each list I take every game in the database that fits that category, 1276 in total right now, and sort them by the aggregated critic rating. The 30 highest scoring titles make the list. No publisher can pay to appear here, and the affiliate links have no effect on the order. The full method is explained under how I pick.
